Our Introduction training course brings you the skills needed to represent straightforward projects using Microsoft Project.
It should suit anyone who wants to spend the minimum of time in gaining an understanding of how to model their project through the tasks of which it is comprised.
This course takes one day on-site, normally between 9:30am and 4:30pm.
Competence in the use of the keyboard and mouse and familiarity with using Microsoft Windows.
Experience of project management is not essential.

Task Constraints The eight types of constraint; their relevance to your project; avoiding pitfalls.
Milestones Application; setting; identifying.
Critical Path Explained; how to identify critical and non-critical tasks; views showing critical tasks.
Outlining Grouping tasks to create a hierarchical structure to your project: summary and sub-tasks.
Repetitive Tasks Ways to represent tasks that occur more than once.
Baseline Committing your project plan.
Slippage Departures from your plan; identifying; viewing.
Slack Explained; relevance to your schedule; exploiting.
Gantt Chart Customising; filtering; sorting; printing; different types.
Printing Fitting to page; date ranges; headers and footers; legends or keys.
Reporting Some of Project's built-in reports.
